Shipping Policy

 

Origin & Carriers

  • We ship from Hiroshima, Japan.

  • Primary carriers: DHL and Japan Post International EMS (selected by destination, size/weight, and service availability).

  • For some countries (e.g., the United States), DHL may be used when EMS service is unavailable or limited.

Processing Time

  • Orders ship within 3–5 business days after payment is confirmed.

  • Business hours: Mon, Wed–Sat 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (JST). We are closed Tue, Sun, and national holidays.

  • Orders placed outside business hours are processed on the next business day.

Estimated Delivery Time

  • Typical transit time: 7–14 business days, depending on destination and customs procedures.

  • Remote areas or peak seasons may require additional days.

Tracking & Liability

  • A tracking number will be provided when your order ships.

  • Shipments include the carrier’s standard liability.

Packaging

  • Each item is wrapped with protective materials and boxed carefully for international transit.

  • Dimensions and weights shown on product pages use cm/in for clarity.

Address Accuracy & Undeliverable Packages

  • Please ensure your shipping address, phone number, and email are accurate.

  • If a parcel is returned due to incorrect/incomplete address, refusal, unpaid duties/taxes, or unclaimed delivery, the buyer is responsible for original and reshipping costs.

  • Address changes after dispatch, re-routing, or storage fees charged by carriers are the buyer’s responsibility.

PO Boxes & Delivery Restrictions

  • DHL cannot deliver to PO Boxes in many countries. Please provide a physical address and local contact number.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

  • Buyers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, VAT/GST, and import taxes.

  • We cannot mark shipments as “gift” or undervalue items.

Order Splitting & Combined Shipping

  • Multiple items may ship together when possible. If items are ready at different times or require different packaging, we may split shipments.

  • For combined-shipping quotes, contact meguru@fumu.jp before purchase.

Lost, Delay, or Damage Claims

  • Please inspect upon delivery. If your item is damaged or missing, email meguru@fumu.jp within 7 days of receipt with photos of the item and packaging, plus the tracking number.

  • For carrier delays, we will assist in tracing, but transit times are not guaranteed.

Prohibited or Restricted Items

  • If an item is restricted by the destination country and cannot be delivered, the order may be canceled or returned. Fees incurred are the buyer’s responsibility unless caused by our error.
